3D Animator

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Animator with a strong background in using Unreal Engine to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations that bring characters, environments, and assets to life.

Responsibility

• Create and implement high-quality 3D animations for characters, props, and environmental elements within Unreal Engine
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure animations align with gameplay mechanics and artistic vision
• Rig and skin characters and assets to meet animation requirements
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure optimized performance in Unreal Engine
• Use motion capture data and refine it for in-game integration
• Adapt animations for real-time gameplay scenarios, ensuring smooth transitions and responsiveness
• Test animations in Unreal Engine to ensure quality and functionality in gameplay
• Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues during development

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a 3D Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Unreal Engine
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation tools such as Maya, Blender, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of character rigging, skinning, and animation principles
• Experience with Unreal Engine’s animation systems, including Sequencer, Animation Blueprints, and State Machines
• Exposure to gameplay mechanics and animation workflows is highly desirable
• Familiarity with motion capture data processing and integration
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
