Software Engineer (PHP)

Job description

Must have good exposure in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and must be comfortable installing and running Apache, PHP, and MySQL services on both local setups and remote Linux servers, and deploying PHP applications with ease

Responsibility

• Work with web technologies like JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Ajax to create stunning front-end experiences.
• Apply your understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns to write clean, maintainable code.
• Solve complex problems and optimize data structures and algorithms for efficiency.
• Develop RESTful APIs and deploy monolith applications while navigating the intricacies of session management, cookies, caching, and MySQL optimization.
• Embrace new technologies and challenges with a flexible, self-starter attitude.
• Collaborate in a scrum/agile environment to deliver high-quality results.
• Work closely with your team to design, build, and maintain both new and existing features and products.
• Provide production support, diagnose systems, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Play a key role in fostering our DevOps culture and supporting its growth.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred
• 3+ years of software development experience in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Experience with Apache Web Server, PHP Process Management, AWS services, Java, or C# is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a passion for the gaming industry will set you apart
