Android Developer

Job description

We are hiring an Android Developer to join well funded and fast growing startup in Bengaluru, India (Work from Office). In this role, you'll work on building cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality applications for Android devices using Kotlin and Java. You will be involved in developing immersive experiences by integrating ARCore, applying 3D graphics concepts, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. Responsibility

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications focused on AR/Mixed Reality
• Work with senior engineers to implement new features and optimize app performance
• Integrate ARCore and other AR/VR frameworks into Android applications
• Apply 3D graphics concepts including coordinate systems, shaders, and transformations
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate on development best practices
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in Android, AR, and immersive tech
• Contribute ideas to improve user experience and app functionality

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin and Java
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, components, and architecture
• Basic knowledge of 3D graphics concepts (shaders, coordinate systems, transformations)
• Familiarity with ARCore or willingness to learn AR development
• Good problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn from feedback
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
