Discord Community Manager

Job description

We’re looking for a Discord Manager & Community Builder who lives and breathes gaming. If you’re a natural at starting conversations, creating online buzz, and building tight-knit communities—this role is for you. You’ll lead the launch and growth of a gamer-first Discord server, planning engaging events, managing bots and moderation, and making sure the server feels like home for players.

Responsibility

• Build a vibrant and inclusive Discord community for gamers, starting from scratch.
• Design the server layout, including channels, roles, bots, and moderation systems.
• Host weekly events such as AMAs, trivia nights, giveaways, and tournaments.
• Create and execute engagement strategies that drive daily activity and long-term retention.
• Keep a pulse on the community—encouraging UGC, responding to feedback, and fostering positive vibes.
• Monitor analytics to track growth and improve community-building tactics.
• Collaborate with content, creative, and social teams to maintain brand tone and energy across channels.

Requirement

• 3–5 years of experience in community management, Discord engagement, or social marketing roles.
• Deep knowledge of gamer psychology, streaming trends, and meme-driven culture.
• Experience setting up and scaling Discord servers with bots, custom roles, and moderation tools.
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills to keep conversations fresh and authentic.
• Creative thinking and initiative to build excitement and drive participation.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• A passion for gaming and online communities is non-negotiable.
