Data Analyst

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic gaming company in Bengaluru. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to drive data-informed decisions and enhance our gaming products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, analysts, and marketing, to deliver impactful insights that shape our strategy.

Responsibility

• Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for enhancing player experiences.
• Deliver analytics and data science projects that align with the product roadmap and goals, focusing on providing actionable insights to significantly boost core game metrics.
• Support game studios in making data-driven, evidence-based decisions by maintaining accurate data sources and developing informative dashboards.
• Collaborate with game teams to design, test, validate, and implement machine learning models and product features that positively affect millions of users across games.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field; a Master’s, MBA, or PhD is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Demonstrable experience in statistics, experimental design, machine learning, or deep learning.
• Experience in analyzing large datasets, preferably in Hadoop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong collaborative skills to effectively engage with various teams to deliver clear business impact.
