Job description

We are seeking a Lead Technical Artist to join a dynamic team in the gaming industry. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between the art and programming teams, ensuring the game’s visual elements are optimized and perform well mobile gaming art. You will lead a team of technical artists, manage the technical design and implementation of solutions, and collaborate with artists to overcome complex technical challenges while maintaining the creative vision

Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor the Technical Art team, driving innovation and technical excellence in game visuals
  • Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and engineers to integrate high-quality assets into game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) efficiently
  • Optimize art pipelines, tools, and workflows to enhance performance and productivity
  • Conduct asset and code reviews to ensure industry best practices, performance optimization, and adherence to technical constraints
  • Develop and refine shaders (HLSL/GLSL), procedural tools, and automation scripts (Python, C#) for enhanced workflow efficiency
  • Solve complex technical challenges, balancing artistic vision with technical feasibility
  • Work in an Agile environment, ensuring smooth collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

Requirement

  • 5+ years Proven experience as a Technical Artist in a gaming environment
  • Expertise in game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) and scripting languages (Python, C#) for pipeline automation and tool development
  • Strong knowledge of shader programming (HLSL, GLSL) and rendering techniques
  • Experience with performance optimization and profiling across platforms
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software (e

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen eye for both technical and artistic detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge the gap between art and engineering
  • Experience with procedural content generation and real-time VFX

  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Perforce)
