QA Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in testing mobile, server-side, and web applications. The role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Proficiency in tools like Appium, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines is essential, alongside strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Responsibility

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS and Android),server-side applications,and websites
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage based on project requirements
• Execute test cases,analyze test results,and identify defects,performance issues,and opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with developers to reproduce,debug,and resolve issues identified during testing
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies,including sprint planning,daily stand-ups,and retrospectives
• Research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies to enhance testing processes and efficiency
• Contribute to quality assurance strategy and engage in process improvement initiatives
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders,report issues,and collaborate on solutions
• Mentor and coach junior QA and development team members,fostering best practices and professional growth

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Engineering,or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java,Python,or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools,including Appium,Selenium,XCTest,Espresso,JUnit,TestNG,etc
• Proven expertise in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Experience working in an agile development environment using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g.,Docker,Kubernetes)
• Understanding of microservices architectures and related testing methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS,Azure,or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
• Experience in gaming is a plus
