QA Manager

Job description

We are hiring an experienced Contract QA Manager to join our team in Singapore. You will lead test planning, strategy, and execution to ensure top-quality gaming product releases. Your role will involve managing QA processes, risk assessment, and driving tech improvements while collaborating across teams.

Responsibility

• Develop a comprehensive test strategy for pack releases, incorporating various testing types based on a data-driven approach and risk-based testing (RBT).
• Execute the test strategy effectively to ensure adequate test coverage and identify issues early in the development cycle.
• Evaluate and anticipate gaps in the testing process, utilizing test data to highlight risks and their potential impact.
• Validate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) at the product level, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Implement a proactive approach to identify and mitigate risks, focusing on permanent solutions to prevent future issues.
• Drive technology changes by identifying the scope, prioritizing needs, and assessing the return on investment (ROI) for automation efforts.
• Possess a strong passion for playing video games, ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end quality plan throughout the game development cycle.
• Plan and execute the test strategy and related tasks using Scrum or agile methodologies.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including test planning and execution.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance techniques, testing and automation frameworks, and various testing methodologies.
