Senior 3D Character Artist

Job description

We are hiring a Senior Character Artist to create captivating character art for our games! If you have a passion for designing stylized characters and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills, we want to hear from you. You'll play a key role in bringing our characters to life, working closely with the team to ensure they align with our artistic vision.

Responsibility

• Conceptualize, design, model, texture, and rig amazing 3D characters for our game environments, ensuring we meet project requirements and the artistic vision.
• Use smart low poly modeling techniques to ensure our character assets run smoothly in game engines while maintaining visual appeal.
• Leverage your strong knowledge of human and creature anatomy to create characters that are visually striking and anatomically accurate.
• Review and refine our character creation process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance our workflow and quality.
• Work closely with art directors, game designers, animators, and other team members to ensure our character designs align with the overall game vision and narrative.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Animation, or related field.
• 6 years of experience as a 3D Character Artist
• Expertise in low poly modeling and optimization for real-time rendering.
• Strong understanding of human and creature anatomy for accurate 3D character creation.
• Good with Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character artwork and relevant skills
