Senior 3D Environment Artist

We’re hiring a Senior Environment Artist who can design and create 3D model and can also mentor junior artists

Responsibility

• Plan, design, model, texture, and rig detailed 3D environments using low poly modeling techniques.
• Review and enhance the steps taken to create environments, finding ways to work better and faster while maintaining quality.
• Regularly check environment assets to ensure they meet quality standards and project needs, giving helpful feedback to fellow artists.
• Guide and support less experienced artists, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles.
• Work closely with the team to make sure everyone is on the same page and the game vision stays consistent.
• Keep learning about the latest trends, tools, and techniques in environment art to continuously improve our processes.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Animation, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Environment Artist in the gaming industry.
• Expertise in low-poly modeling and optimizing for real-time rendering.
• Ability to create high-quality textures that align with artistic style and project goals.
• Proficiency with tools like Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional environment artwork and relevant technical skills.
