Senior Game Developer

Job description

Join our team as a Game Developer, where you'll bring the game in to life, collaborate with designers and artists, and ensure smooth integration of assets. You'll provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and maintain documentation, all while mentoring junior developers and driving innovation.

Responsibility

• Implement game functionality based on design documents and specifications.
• Provide guidance on design and architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices in development.
• Collaborate with team members to establish a smooth pipeline, integrating art assets in alignment with the game roadmap.
• Work closely with game designers and artists to enhance creative expression within the game.
• Support the project lead by offering feedback on technical implementation and suggesting improvements to the game design.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including bugs, while proposing solutions for future releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference throughout the project.
• Mentor and support junior designers, helping them grow in their roles and career paths.

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in Unity3D platforms
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming with C#
• Proven track record of developing and operating multi-platform games
• In-depth knowledge of computer science fundamentals and concepts
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Extensive knowledge of memory optimization, CPU and rendering pipelines
• Familiarity with build systems like Jenkins
• Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of 3D mathematics and its application in game development
• Familiarity with mobile-native languages such as Objective-C, Java, and C++
• Experience consuming REST APIs within Unity
• Passion for mobile games and gaming as a whole
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
