Senior Manager QA

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Manager to lead quality assurance operations for publishing titles in the Indian market at leading publisher. In this role, you will oversee QA strategies, test planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution and delivery of world-class mobile, PC, and console games.

Responsibility

• Define and implement QA strategies and test processes to ensure high-quality publishing titles.
• Manage QA schedules, resources, and test execution plans, making critical decisions to meet deadlines.
• Develop, review, and oversee test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and maintain efficient communication.
• Analyze issues and lead root-cause investigations to improve product quality and QA workflows.
• Maintain QA documentation, test history, and analysis resources to establish best practices.
• Work closely with QA Leads from headquarters to align strategies, reporting, and global QA standards.

Requirement

• 15+ years of QA experience in the gaming industry, with at least 5 years in a QA management role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test tools, and processes across mobile, PC, and console platforms.
• Proven success in leading QA teams throughout full game development and release cycles.
• Hands-on experience with QA testing on Android, iOS, PC, and console platforms.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing tools to ensure product stability and compliance.
• Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to QA best practices.
• Experience working with global, multicultural teams with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented, process-driven mindset.
