Sr. Game Designer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our vibrant gaming team in Singapore. In this role, you will lead the design and development of captivating game mechanics, systems, and features that create immersive and enjoyable player experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including art, development, and production, to ensure the game design aligns seamlessly with the project's overall vision and objectives.

Responsibility

• Develop and conceptualize fundamental game mechanics, systems, and features.
• Guide the creation of gameplay experiences, ensuring they are balanced, engaging, and enjoyable for players.
• Work closely with artists, developers, and producers to facilitate the seamless integration of game design elements.
• Produce comprehensive design documents, user flows, and prototypes for internal review and iteration.
• Evaluate player feedback and game analytics to enhance gameplay systems and overall user experience.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor games to inspire innovation.
• Mentor junior game designers, promoting a collaborative and creative atmosphere.

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in game design, with a strong portfolio of shipped games.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics, systems design, and game balancing.
• Expertise in level design, economy design, or narrative design.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret player feedback and game data.
• Proficiency in design tools will be a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
