Job description

Looking to hire a Technical Artist who can bridge the gap between art and engineering, ensuring that the visual assets are optimized for performance while maintaining high-quality aesthetics.

Responsibility

  • Optimize 3D assets for performance in our game, focusing on low-poly modeling and texture baking.
  • Establish and maintain efficient workflows and pipelines for asset integration and performance optimization.
  • Create and implement tools/scripts that assist artists and developers in streamlining processes and improving productivity.
  • Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure visual quality and technical feasibility of game assets.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to art assets, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges in the game engine.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to guide team members in asset creation and best practices.

Requirement

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unity, Adobe Photoshop, Blender, and/or Maya
  • Experience with performance profiling, asset management, and shader development.
  • Experience with particle systems and visual effects (VFX) in Unity
