Unity 3D Environment Artist
Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Environment Artist with strong Unity skills to design immersive, high-performance game environments for 3D projects. Collaborate with designers and developers to create visually stunning levels, optimize 3D assets, and bring compelling gameplay worlds to life.
Responsibilities
- Design and build environment scenes in Unity.
- Assemble and LOD preparation of 3D assets for use in levels.
- Work closely with designers to ensure environments support gameplay flow.
- Apply post-processing, shaders, and lighting setups to achieve mood and performance targets.
- Collaborate with the art and programming team to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Unity scene building and level/environment setup (HDRP & URP).
- Understanding of lighting, composition, and environmental storytelling.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques for performance.
- Experience with 3D assets and prefabs inside Unity.
- Good to Have: Skills in 3D modeling, texturing, or procedural tools (Blender, Maya, Substance, Houdini).
